The Chris Mason-Battley Group is one of New Zealand’s leading contemporary jazz groups, having released three albums, performed at many of the country’s top jazz and arts festivals and achieved international success as one of the top 25 downloaded artists on the pioneer music website MP3.com.

Led by Chris Mason-Battley on Saxophone, members of the group also perform at a wide range of events including:
